Description

Semantic ambiguity can be a burden in cross-border health data exchange. Referencing to diseases and medication might be confusing in clinical practice due to different drug brand names, clinical protocols/procedures, etc. KONFIDO should promote semantic interoperability in order to minimize these risks.
