Input device can be set for navigation and interaction by using standard technologies, such as gamepads, keyboards, and mice and more advanced technologies, such as the Kinect or an Eye-tracker, by the means of VRPN protocol. The Launcher is also used to calibrate the device (here a Kinect), visualizing the thresholds (as can be seen in Test with green bars)
