The x position of the dot is the impact of that feature on the model’s prediction for the patient, and the color of the dot represents the value of that feature for the sample. Dots that don’t fit on the row pile up to show density. Since the XGBoost model has a logistic loss the x-axis has units of log-odds (Tree SHAP explains the change in the margin output of the model)
